Naadam Festival & National Parks Tour Naadam, the traditional festival of Mongolia is locally known as ‘Eriin Gurvan Naadam‘  which means ‘The Three Games of Men‘. These three contentious games of Naadam are obvious from the nature of these sports. A lot of fun and sweat is involved in these events. The biggest festival is organized in Ulaanbaatar during the National Holiday from July 11 – 13, in the National Stadium of the Mongolian capital.

We are glad to mention that Naadam is becoming one of the favourite holidays for foreign tourists. At first, they came to Mongolia to see some kind of competition and festival, but after spending some time in the Naadam environment they want to try it themselves and most of them go to the countryside, to tourist camps which organize a lot of attractive events for tourists. I’m sure most of them really have a good time there, because they ride horses, shoot arrows, and wrestle each other. In other words they celebratetheir own naadam there. The tour offers an exploration of what Mongolians call “Khangai” and central Mongolia, the land of forested mountains, clear lakes and streams, hot spa and waterfall. It is populated by nomadic herders whose way of life has changed little since many centuries. They tend large herds of yaks, horses, goats and sheep. Meet these hospitable people and learn of their culture and traditions. Visit Buddhist monasteries and the ancient capital of Genghis Khan, from where he launched his victorious cavalry. Hiking, horseback riding, are the main activities.
