Golden Circuit Tour Mongolia’s Colden Circuit’ highlights the most -visited regions of the country Like Khuvsgul, the Orkhon Valley and the South Gobi. You may have time to visit one or two of the areas mentioned-all three, if you stay three weeks. Lake Kuvsgul is the famous blue in northern Mongolia bordering Siberia, near many great fishing rivers. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty and we will offers good accommodation and many activities like riding, hiking and climbing. Also travel to Orkhon Valley, with its forested mountain landscape, waterfalls, spas and temple sites, to visit the site of Kharkhorum, the ancient capital of the Mongol empire and the monastery of Erdene Zuu.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Ulaanbaatar city

After arrival in Ub city, meet your driver and guide, check in Hotel 4****.
Take a city Tour, visit National Historical Museum, Main square, and Gandan monastery. Also we have a time to exchange money and some shopping if you want.
Transfer to Hotel prepare our long journey next day.
Overnight 4**** Hotel. (Lunch + Dinner )

Day 2

White Stuppa

After breakfast we will drive to Tsagaan suvarga (White stuppa). This is an eroded landscape that was once beneath the sea. Reach in marine fossils and clam shells, some of the chalk mounds are up to 30m in height. Visit sightseeing do some hikking enjoy the nature. Overnight in tourist Ger Camp. (B+L+D)

Day 3

Yol Valley

After breakfast drive to Yoliin am (Yol ice valley ) which located in Govi Gurvan Salkhan or known as Three Beauty of Gobi. It's end of the Altai mountains ranges and chance to see wild animals such as wild sheep, ibex, condor, golden eagle and of course vultures.Visit sightseeing do some hikking enjoy the nature. Day 4

Khongor Sand Dune

We continue our journey to the Khongor sand dune or known as Singing Dune that is one of the biggest sand dunes of Mongolian. It has an extraordinary length of approximate 100 kms and 12 kilometers wide. There is an oasis near a river Khongor at the northern edge of the sand dunes. Dune journey & camel riding.

Day 5

Flaming Cliffs

Drive to Bayanzag or known as Flaming Cliffs. Bayanzag is very famous for Dinosaur remains complete dinosaur skeletons and eggs. American Palaeontologist Roy Chapman Andrews has been discovered this area in beginning of 20 century and getting famous all over the world. Visit to Dinosaur fossils found area. If you see carefully, you could find piece of bone or dinosaur egg. Afternoon short hiking Gobi tree-saxual forest.

Day 6

Ongi monastery

Drive to Ongi monastery ruins, which is located Ongi river near the settlement of Saikhan Ovoo village, this site comprises the remains of two monasteries Barliim Khiid and Khutagt Khiid. Altthough there is little left, it is interesting to go there to explore the ruins. In the evening enjoy traditional short perfomance. Overnight in Tourist Ger Camp. (B+L+D)

Day 7

Kharakhorum ancient city

Drive to Kharakhorum ancient city of Mongolian Great Empire which was formerly a great capital city built by Ogoodei Khan (Chinggis Khan's successor and third son) in 1235. We will visit oldest Buddhist monastery Erdenezuu and modern style historical museum. Overnight in Ger Camp. (B+L+D)

Day 8

Orkhon Waterfall

Drive to Orkhon Waterfall area, which was formed by volcanic eruptions about 20.000 years ago, the waterfall cascades from a height of 20 km. It is a scenic, tranquil spot and the surrounding nature is undisturbed, where is hiking and relaxing under beauty wilderness. Overnight in Ger Camp. (B+L+D)

Day 9

Tsenkher Hot Spring

Drive to Tsenkher hot springs via Tovkhon monastery. The waters are supposed to have curative properties for joints and other ailments. Outdoor pools are attended by staff who can or heat the water via a water-gate system; there are also indoor pools. Men and women bathe separately. It is an excellent place to relaxing under blue sky having outdoor hot spa.

Day 10-11

Terkh White Lake & Khorgo Dead Volcano

Drive to Khorgo dead volcano and Terkhiin tsagaan lake (spelled also white lake). It contains spectacular mountain scenery and rock formations formed by volcanic eruptions. We will spend here two nights, and one full day horse trip to Khorgo dead Volcano. Horse trip start around 10:30 am, it takes around
5 hours to explored big volcano carter area. Also there are a good spot for bird watching and photographing. Overnight in Ger camp. (B+L+D)

Day 12

Murun town

After breakfast we will drive to Murun town capital city on northern Mongolia.
Visit local markets, explore town lifestyle. Overnight in town Hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 13-14

Khuvsgul Lake

After breakfast we will drive to deepest and pure lake Khuvsgul. You have a opportunity to hiking near the lake shore and through forest for taking picture
flora & fauna of Khuvsgul lake area. Also we will visit reindeer family one of the fewest ethnic group of Mongolia. You have a chance to ride a reindeer and take your memorable photos. In the evening you will take a boating short time on the beautiful lake. Overnight in Ger camp. (B+L+D)

Day 15

Uran Togo Mountain

Drive to Uran Togoo mountain which is extinct volcano around 600m wide and 50m deep, and at the bottom of it is a small lake 20m in diameter. In the centre of the lake on some high ground are some green trees. Via visit Selenge river.

Day 16

Amarbayasgalant Monastery

After breakfast, we continue driving to Amarbayasgalant monastery. Amarbayasgalant is one of the four great monasteries of Mongolia and the most important northern monastery. It is one the largest monasteries, too, and it also considered architecturally the most beautiful. Unfortunately, some buildings were damaged during the religious purges of the 1930s and 10 of the 37 temples were destroyed. Restoration work was completed recently with the help of UNESCO. Traditional barbaque for dinner.

Day 17

Back to UB

Drive back to Ulaanbaatar city, if you would like to do some shopping souvenirs and cashmere. And enjoying an evening traditional performance of National Folklore. Overnight 4*** Hotel. (B+L+D)
