Terelj National Park 2 days Tour Chinggis Khan statue which is 40m high and see as far signed Chinggis Khan holds golden whip in his right hand. Lying in the valley of the Terelj river 80km northeast of UB, this resort is part of the Gorkhi-Terelj National Park. It is one of the most visited areas in Mongolia due to its magnificent scenery and its proximity to Ulaanbaatar. During the summer season there are great opportunities for hiking, rock climbing, riding and birdwatching.

Itinerary

Drive to Terelj national park. Lying in the valley of the Terelj river 80km northeast of UB, this resort is part of the Gorkhi-Terelj National Park. It is one of the most visited areas in Mongolia due to its magnificent scenery and its proximity to Ulaanbaatar, on the way visit Ghingiss Khan statue. Overnight in tourist Ger camp. (B+L+D)

After breakfast, horse riding 1 hour, then we drive to UB city via Chinggis Khan Statue. We will take a short drive to visit the “Genghis Khan Statue Complex” which is currently the biggest (40m high) equestrian statue in the world. There is a recreation area, restaurants, and souvenir shops occupy the base structure.
From here, you can up to the head of the horse using an elevator. There you have a good panoramic view over the complex area and the scenery beyond. Return to the city. Arrive at the hotel around 5 pm.
